Filmmaker

Ron Grunhut holds a B.A. in Studio Music and Jazz from the University of Miami, a Certificate in Software Development from Columbia University, a Series 7 and Six Sigma Black Belt designation from Merrill Lynch, and most recently completed the Graduate Certificate in Documentary Studies from The New School.

He was active as a performing flutist and saxophonist in the New York City area before embarking on a 15-year long career as a Wall Street technology executive. Following a narrow escape from the September 11th World Trade Center attacks, he has transitioned back to the arts as a nonfiction filmmaker. He is interested in using the medium to tell real-life stories that inform, inspire and encourage new ways to look at our world.
